Chris was extremely responsive and thorough. We received the report the same day and he called the next day to answer questions. He also provided lots of tips to address minor issues. Our realtor had very positive interactions with him as well and is adding him to her preferred provider list.

I was very Leary of Entergy, but Chris put us at ease inspecting the boat dock and letting us know beforehand about problems that maybe needed to be addressed.
Very professional person. Helps take any anxiety away from inspection as a seller of boat dock. Great ethics and would rate him as second to none,

Chris wrote a very detailed report and got it back to us very quickly. I have to give an A++ for customer service. He came out on short notice, answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly, and is pleasant with a good sense of humor. We wasted three days trying to get another inspector to give us a definite appointment time. I wish we had called Chris to begin with.

We hired Chris to inspect a home and shop we were interested in purchasing. From the start, Chris was professional and thorough. He welcomed my attendance during the inspections and gladly answered my MANY questions. He promptly provided multi-page inspection reports that were very detailed with multiple pictures. After I reviewed the reports, Chris again gladly answered my questions. I’m sure there are other inspectors in the Hot Springs area, but I see no reason to look elsewhere and will gladly recommend Chris to anyone who asks.

Comments: After using an inspector that my realtor recommended while buying my first home and not being pleased, I decided I was going to do my research and find someone myself the second time around. Well, all of my research led me to Chris with Strategic Home Inspection, and I was not disappointed. Chris went above and beyond for us, even rescheduling a long-standing doctors appointment to accommodate my hectic schedule and the one and only time/date I could schedule my inspection. He walked me through everything he found, and was VERY thorough. His equally thorough report was sent to us very quickly and he even checked in several times to see if we had any questions with his report (which we did not...it was that thorough). I will definitely use Chris in the future, and will highly recommend him to anyone purchasing a home. Even my realtor was very impressed with him!

Comments: My inspector was Chris, he addressed all of my concerns and cheerfully answered each question in detail. The information booklet he gave me was worth the price of the inspection alone and full of valuable information. I would and have recommended Strategic Home Inspections for not only new buyers but current homeowners as well. Its good to know there is a problem before its a problem. Chris recommendations may have saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs that I thought were needed and thousands more on repairs that are truly needed. I really felt like he did the inspection as if it was for him and his family. He was so professional and polite in treating me as a person first and then a customer. He understood my need of finding a reliable home and helped a fellow veteran in understanding the issues and flaws throughout the inspection. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! I contacted Chris on Friday to set up an appointment to inspect the Hot Springs Village lake home I had just made an offer on. I was able to reach him immediately and he was able to inspect the home first thing on Monday. Chris is very personable, makes a concerted effort to explain the inspection process, and follows up to make sure any and all questions are handled. This is the way it should be when you are spending large amounts of money to purchase a property. I also found his rates to be very competitive on my 4000+ square foot home. (rates are less on smaller homes) The written report was outstanding in its completeness and attention to detail. My real estate broker was impressed. My brother, who has done a fair amount of construction, rated it "excellent". To summarize: I STRONGLY recommend Chris at Strategic Home Inspection. I feel very confident that my home purchase was a good decision because Chris put my mind at ease with his thorough inspection.

Gave us advice on how to divert the rainfall from the gutters across the driveway and away from the foundation of the house. Also on what type of services we needed to repair driveway and level the sidewalk where the water has washed the soil out beneath.

Chris was great! He was extremely through and respectful, he spent 3+ hours going through our home checking everything! He made it very simple, every bit of paperwork was completed via the internet...... I didn't have to print anything and got my final report the same day! We had our house on the market for months and after his inspection we completed the repairs he suggested and accepted an offer the next week. We moved to Georgia and bought a new home and hired a local inspector. There was absolutely no comparison! Chris is by far the best in the business!
